LoreBook (“the app”) is a note-taking app that draws your notes as a living neural graph published by Baron Mobile Games (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and what choices you have. It applies to the LoreBook Android application distributed through Google Play.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect or receive any personal information about you ourselves. Your data never leaves your phone. The app does show advertisements, and our advertising provider collects data to deliver them. That is the only data collection involved. If you export a backup, the file goes wherever you send it — never to us.
The app saves the notes you write (their titles and text), the links between them, where each note sits on the graph, when you last opened each one, how many times you have opened it, and the score derived from all of that locally on your device.
This data is written to your device’s private app storage. It is not transmitted to us or to anyone else, it is not backed up to any server we control, and we have no way to read it. Uninstalling the app deletes it permanently.
LoreBook can write your whole universe — every note and every link — into a single JSON file, and can read such a file back. Both actions happen only when you ask for them, from Settings → Save a backup and Settings → Load a backup.
The backup is handed to your device’s own share sheet, so you choose where it goes — your file manager, a cloud drive, an email to yourself. We never receive it, we cannot read it, and it is not uploaded anywhere by the app. Once the file leaves the app it is covered by whatever service you sent it to, not by this policy, so treat it like any other document containing your own writing.
LoreBook is free and is funded by advertising. We use Google AdMob to display a banner and an occasional full-screen advertisement.
To serve and measure these advertisements, Google may collect and process:

This data is collected by Google, not by us. We only receive anonymous, aggregated reporting such as the total number of advertisements shown. Google’s handling of it is governed by its own policies:
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app shows a consent form the first time you open it, provided through Google’s User Messaging Platform. You choose whether your data may be used for personalised advertising. You may refuse. If you refuse, you will still see advertisements, but they will not be personalised.
You can change your decision at any time from Settings → Privacy options.
Everywhere in the world, you can limit advertising tracking through your device: Settings → Google → Ads, where you can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalisation.

The app does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, precise location or photos.
LoreBook is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will address it.
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or erase on request. To exercise rights relating to data collected for advertising — including access, erasure, or objection under the GDPR — please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy, which describes how to make such a request. You can delete all locally stored data at any time from Settings → Clear all data inside the app, by clearing the app’s storage in your device settings, or by uninstalling the app.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published at this address with an updated date at the top. Significant changes affecting how data is handled will also be reflected in a new app release.
