KinGlow (“the app”) is a personal-connection tracker published by Baron Mobile Games (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and what choices you have. It applies to the KinGlow Android application distributed through Google Play.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect or receive any personal information about you ourselves. There is no server: everything you enter stays on your device. The app does show advertisements, and our advertising provider — Google AdMob — collects data to deliver them. That is the only data collection involved.
KinGlow keeps the people you add — the name you give each one and which closeness ring you place them in — together with the contacts you log for them, any special days you add, the display name you choose during setup, and your notification preferences.
A logged contact records only what kind it was (a call, a message or a meeting), when it happened, and an optional one-line note you write yourself. The app never records the content of a call, a message or a conversation, and it has no access to your call log, your SMS messages or any messaging app.
This data is written to your device’s private app storage. It is not transmitted to us or to anyone else, it is not backed up to any server we control, and we have no way to read it. Uninstalling the app deletes it permanently.
KinGlow can add people from your device’s contact list, so you do not have to type names in by hand. This is entirely optional and works in one direction only:
If you refuse the permission, every part of the app keeps working — you add people by typing their names instead. You can withdraw the permission at any time in your device’s system settings, and the app will simply stop offering the import screen.
If you turn notifications on, the app schedules reminders on your device when a bond has gone quiet for longer than the rhythm you chose, or when a special day is coming up. These are local notifications: they are generated by the app on the device itself, they are not push messages, and no server is involved.
Settings offers Hide names in notifications, which replaces the person’s name with neutral wording so nothing personal appears on your lock screen.
Settings → Delete my data permanently removes every person and every contact log from the device. Uninstalling the app removes everything it has stored.
KinGlow is free and is funded by advertising. We use Google AdMob to display a banner on the history screen, an occasional full-screen advertisement, and — only if you choose to watch one — a rewarded video that unlocks an extra person or freezes a bond for a week. The constellation screen itself never shows advertisements.
No information about the people you track is ever passed to the advertising provider. The app sends no names, no notes, no dates and no targeting keywords with an ad request. Whether an advertisement is personalised is controlled entirely by the consent choice described below, not by a fixed setting in the app.
To serve and measure these advertisements, Google may collect and process information such as:

This data is collected by Google, not by us. We only receive anonymous, aggregated reporting such as the total number of advertisements shown. Google’s handling of this data is governed by its own policies:
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app shows a consent form the first time you open it, provided through Google’s User Messaging Platform. You choose whether your data may be used for personalised advertising. You may refuse. If you refuse, you will still see advertisements, but they will not be personalised.
You can change your decision at any time from Settings → Ad preferences inside the app. That row appears only where a consent choice applies.
Everywhere in the world, you can limit advertising tracking through your device: Settings → Google → Ads, where you can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalisation.

That is the complete list. The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, precise location, photos, files, call log or SMS messages, and it does not request permission to modify your contacts.
Some permissions that Android libraries add by default were removed from
the shipped app because KinGlow does not use them: storage access
(READ/WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE), drawing over other apps
(SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW), and the whole set of home-screen badge permissions.
KinGlow is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will address it.
If this policy changes, the “last updated” date above changes with it. Material changes will be described in the app’s release notes on Google Play.
