ClueGrid (“the app”) is an offline logic-puzzle game published by Baron Mobile Games (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and what choices you have. It applies to the ClueGrid Android application distributed through Google Play.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect or receive any personal information about you ourselves. Your progress never leaves your phone. The app does show advertisements, and our advertising provider collects data to deliver them. That is the only data collection involved.
The app saves your puzzle progress locally: experience points and detective rank, your daily streak and the date it was last extended, which of the day’s cases you have closed, the star rating earned on each archive case, counters for perfect and shadow solves, your settings (theme and haptics), and a single unfinished case so you can resume it.
This data is written to your device’s private app storage. It is not transmitted to us or to anyone else, it is not backed up to any server we control, and we have no way to read it. Uninstalling the app deletes it permanently.
The puzzles themselves are generated on your device from a number, so no puzzle content is downloaded or uploaded.
ClueGrid is free and is funded by advertising. We use Google AdMob to display a banner, an occasional full-screen advertisement between cases, and optional rewarded advertisements that you choose to watch in exchange for a hint, a cleanup of your wrong marks, or a theme unlock. Rewarded advertisements are never forced: the case can always be solved without them, and no advertisement is ever shown while you are solving a puzzle.
To serve and measure these advertisements, Google may collect and process:

This data is collected by Google, not by us. We only receive anonymous, aggregated reporting such as the total number of advertisements shown. Google’s handling of it is governed by its own policies:
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app shows a consent form the first time you open it, provided through Google’s User Messaging Platform. You choose whether your data may be used for personalised advertising. You may refuse. If you refuse, you will still see advertisements, but they will not be personalised.
You can change your decision at any time from Settings → Privacy options.
Everywhere in the world, you can limit advertising tracking through your device: Settings → Google → Ads, where you can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalisation.

The app does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, precise location, photos or files.
ClueGrid is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will address it.
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or erase on request. To exercise rights relating to data collected for advertising — including access, erasure, or objection under the GDPR — please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy, which describes how to make such a request. You can delete all locally stored data at any time by clearing the app’s storage in your device settings, or by uninstalling the app.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published at this address with an updated date at the top. Significant changes affecting how data is handled will also be reflected in a new app release.
